The above image is just asking to be a meme*, but also exemplifies artificial selection - evolution directed by humans. It might not seem like the brightest idea, but these rats have been bred to be hostile to humans.
What? Why would anyone do this? "Normal" rats are bad enough. Actually, by comparing these rats to rats that are bred for friendliness, scientists hope to better understand the relationship between DNA and behavior.**
